This blender has the same functionality as the Vitamix 5200 Total Nutrition Center. In the middle it features an adjustable speed turning knob. To the left is the override Fast Speed / Variable Speed Switch and to the right is the on/off switch. Of course mistakes can always happen, when for example you forget or you don't see that the blender operation is on Fast or a variable - high speed and you turn it on with ingredients / soup, or other liquid mix ready for blending. This will shoot the ingredients to the top. When your lid is not tight, it will be a messy learning experience that you won't do so easily again..... wio wua miau ... all those ingredients spilled....

This blender has the same motor power as the Vita Mix 4500 Turbo Blender, the Vitamix 5200 Total Nutrition Center and other Vitamix blenders (Bar Boss, Drink Machine, etc...) According to Vitamix it has suffiencient torque and power / speed to break the cell walls open for proper phyto nutrient release. And of course it does. Here comes however our ..."BUT"...

The 3 hp blender is a stronger blender. It does not have necessarily much more power in AMPs or power consumption, but it has a greater power in the motor speed up to its speed limits and therefore can break the seeds better and faster. So why don't we just recommend then the 3 hp blenders? Don't get us wrong, the 2 hp blenders are much better than those that you can buy under $ 100 at some other store.
